Kofoworola Agbaje joined Quona Capital in 2019 and was promoted to Vice President in 2023. She is focused on Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, and Cross-Border investments for Quona.
Kofoworola works on regional sourcing and due diligence of investment opportunities, as well as supporting Quona and its portfolio companies on operational projects and research. In addition, she provides support on the firm's exits and recently assisted with Tiaxa's exit to Bemobi in 2021.
Prior to Quona, Kofoworola worked for the technology team at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London across different investment banking divisions. In addition to working on several high-profile IT integration projects, Kofoworola’s roles varied from building enterprise software applications to operation management of credit risk applications and teams.
She holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an engineering degree from Imperial College London.
