Maria Jose Aguilar Belmont joined Quona Capital in 2024 as an Investment Analyst focused on Latin America. In her role, she supports deal sourcing, evaluates and conducts due diligence on investment opportunities, and works closely with portfolio companies as they expand in emerging markets.
Prior to Quona, Maria was a key member of Capria Ventures' Value-Add team, where she led initiatives to integrate Generative AI across a diverse portfolio of tech companies in the Global South, spanning Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and India.
Maria holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from New York University Abu Dhabi, where she developed her expertise in global markets and entrepreneurship.
