Shaleen Baweja joined Quona Capital in 2019 as a Portfolio Analyst, and was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2023.
Shaleen is responsible for monitoring the performance of Quona’s portfolio companies for both internal and external reporting. He also supports Quona's investment teams through research and analysis. In 2020, he worked on the IndiaMart exit via an IPO that was 35x oversubscribed. Further, Shaleen collaborates on Quona’s impact workstreams, ensuring that Quona’s impact measurement across its portfolio companies is aligned with industry-leading financial inclusion and social impact standards.
Prior to Quona, Shaleen worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division for three years, focused on TMT and consumer sectors across Asia. He also worked at RocSearch, where he covered a UK-based real estate-focused PE fund. Previously he advised global banking clients in the Middle East through his work with i3 Consulting.
