Takafumi Yamada joined Quona Capital as Vice President in 2024 and is focused on Southeast Asia investments and portfolio support for Quona.
Prior to Quona, Takafumi was a part of the founding team in the Financial Services Unit at Grab, a leading SuperApp in Southeast Asia, where he led strategy, M&A and fundraising efforts across the region. He also held leadership roles in Grab's lending and payment businesses in Indonesia. Previously he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey and in charge of projects on strategy, marketing and operations across emerging markets including Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East.
Takafumi holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Tokyo.
